A High School student named Beano gets chosen to coach the high school football team for the final game of the season after the head coach gets hit by a car and ends up in the hospital. Players on the team aren’t happy with the choice of the new head coach and it’s a love hate relationship between Beano and all his players. The most exciting part of the book was when Beano and the Baton High play the game because you don’t know if Beano’s going to mess up the game for them or help them. The worst thing about this book was when someone would get into a conversation and thy would talk for about 4-7 pages. People who like football or sports would enjoy this book. A coach of a team would like this book because it has to do with coming up with strategies for a game. I enjoy football and most sports so that is why I enjoyed this book so much.
