This book was about a teenage girl who’s dad is an alcoholic. She has to deal with this and other issues in school. The changes she makes in this book decide her life for her. The most exciting part of this book was also the worst. When her father was drunk, he hit his son, who is younger than the girl, with a beer bottle and he had to go to the hospital. The best part of this book was when the girl finally forgives her dad. The worst thing in this book was when her little brother got hit with the beer bottle. I think people who like teen dramas and realistic fiction would like this book.
