This book is about friendship. Two girls, Marilyn and Kate, are going through many changes. Marilyn is interested in boys but Kate thinks that they’re not worth waiting for. Kate hates how her best friend, Marilyn, is turning into a boy crazy girl, and Kate isn’t. The most exciting part of the book was when a boy liked Kate but Marilyn really had a big crush on the same boy. The worst part was when the two good friends stopped being friends. The best part was when they realized how stupid it was to give up their friendship for a boy, and they became friends again. I think that young girls would like this book because, most girls give up a good friendship for stupid things and this book teaches girls how to keep their friendship last long.
