Olives Ocean by Kevin Henkes

Olives Ocean was about a girl named Martha and the beginning of the story this girl she barely knew died. And she got this journal from the girl, and it said how she liked Martha and how she was nice. Then in the summer she went to visit her grandmother’s house in Florida for the most of the summer. Martha’s neighbor, Jimmy, was making a movie and had her in it. But he pretends to like her, but Martha doesn’t know that until later on in the story. It it goes through what she’s doing and what happens. I would think the most exciting thing in the book is in between the middle and the end. For example, when Martha thinks that Jimmy likes her, and along with when they are filming the movie. And what is going on at the house. And then ending, which I can’t say! The best things about this book is that you can get into it, and it was a book for me that I couldn’t put down. The bad thing was that in the beginning it was sad. I think that people who like drama/ sad books will like this book very much.
