This book is about a princess named Marigold who starts to send mail across the river to a friend, Christian, by birds. He decides after a while of sending to move to the castle and leave his stepfather. As he works at the castle he sees Marigold but she doesn’t know it is the Christian she has been waiting for. But when Marigolds evil mother steps in you won't know what will happen next with Marigold's wedding. The most exciting part of this book is towards the end because that is when you really start to see why certain things happened and what the characters are really like after all. The best part about this book is that it is funny and you don’t want to stop reading. A bad thing about the book is that it goes on for a while and some times can get tiring. I think people who like fairytales and fiction will really enjoy this book and people who don’t like fiction may also like it to because it can be funny, sad, happy and much more.
