Artems Fowl is a boy genious, a prodigy. He is only 13 years old, and he's already smarter than most other adults. But his geniousness doesn't go to waste. His dad is missing, and he needs money to make a search to find him. So, and here comes the genious part, he finds another group of people called fairies that live underground. One of them wanders out of the ground and he captires it. What happens next? Read on to find out.I think that Silver Lake Middle School students should read this book for many reasons> One, even though Artemis is special, he still suffers from the same teenager problems that most other teens suffer from. Second, this book is a series, so if people like it, they can read five more. Finally, it teaches many lessons, mostly greed versus friendship.
