Uglies by Scott Westerfeld

This book is about a girl named Tally Youngblood and her adventure. Tally lives in a place where when you turn sixteen you get an opperation that turns you pretty and you move to New Pretty town. After all of her friends left she meets a girl named Shay. Shay and Tally hang out a lot and become friends. Little before the day of the opperation Shay leaves. The day Tally goes to get her opperation done instead of being on the table unconcious being operated on she is in a big room talking to a women about Shay disappearing. To find out why Shay is gone and what it has to do with Tally read Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. This book is adventurouse and thrilling there is no reason not to read it. It will keep you at the endge of your seat.
