City of Ember by Jeanne Dyprau

In the book, City of Ember, two kids named Doon and Linda graduate from school, and start their jobs. Now, the clock is ticking and the two kids have to escape the underground city called Ember before the lights go out forever!This is a good choice because whoever reads it will not want to stop. It also gives them information that was not in the movie.
